A gutter, usually lined with flashing, where two roof slopes meet.  These are formed in lead, roofing felt, glass reinforced plastic (GRP) or other materials.  It is important these are kept clear of moss and debris as they are weaker points on the roof and can fail, causing water ingress and decay to the roofing timbers internally.
