Sheffords Chartered Surveyors

Jeremy joined Sheffords in 1976 and is now a Director of the firm. He has over 40 years’ experience of surveying properties in the Sevenoaks and West Kent areas. Jeremy qualified in the General Practice division in 1978 and was elected as a Fellow of the RICS in 1991. Jeremy is an RICS Registered Valuer and works across many of the specialist areas undertaken by the firm.  Jeremy enjoys long walks, time with his family and Rugby (watching nowadays!).

Ed joined Sheffords in 2015 following a first career as an Officer in the British Army. He holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA in Construction & Real Estate from the College of Estate Management.  Ed is a Chartered Residential Surveyor and a Member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors responsible for pre-purchase residential surveys, party wall matters, strategic land and investment advice and the management of clients' property portfolios. Ed is one of our two Directors.

Louisa joined Sheffords in 2021 after a fifteen year career in property in both Sevenoaks and London. She is a SAVA trained residential AssocRICS Surveyor, an RICS Registered Valuer and a Party Wall Surveyor.  Louisa enjoys spending time with family and friends together with travelling and reading.

David is a Chartered Commercial Property Surveyor with an in-depth knowledge and experience of business and non-residential property. David is an RICS Registered Valuer and is able to advise on all landlord and tenant matters including leases and rent reviews.

Val has been part of the Sheffords team for over twenty years and provides secretarial and administrative support together with assisting clients, landlords and tenants with all of their property needs.  In her spare time Val is a keen gardener and also enjoys singing in a local choir and attending music concerts.

Corinne has worked as part of the Sheffords team for over seven years and also provides secretarial and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office together with the administration of managed properties.  Corinne enjoys yoga, reading and swimming as well as trips to the theatre. 

Olivia joined Sheffords in 2019 bringing a wealth of bookkeeping and general accounting experience to the firm. Olivia contributes to the smooth running of the property management department as well as the broader aspects of the business. 

Robert had a varied and interesting career including running major development projects before joining Sheffords in 2022. Robert is our property manager responsible for the good day to day management of our clients' properties and portfolios. Robert works for our landlord clients letting properties when they become vacant, managing tenants and contractors to maintain the properties and high occupancy rates. 

Serena joined Sheffords in 2023 with a background in legal secretarial work she joins Val and Corinne in the office supporting our clients and the surveyors.
